Welcome to the Seacoast Camera Club! 

Members of all skill levels are welcome. Whether you're a casual smartphone shooter, an advanced photographer or anywhere in between, our club strives to provide inspiration, friendship, educational opportunities and fun. 

The SCC regularly meets via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month, September through May. 

In addition to the bimonthly virtual meetings, the club also provides opportunities for in-person gatherings, photo walks, educational workshops and our annual Library Exhibit at the Portsmouth Public Library.

Our speaker in November on Tuesday, Nov 11, at 07:00 PM Eastern Time will be David Akoubian. 

The Decisive Moment in Wildlife Photography - David Akoubian

Capturing the perfect wildlife image is the goal of anyone that goes out and spends any time with a
camera chasing wildlife. Join professional nature photographer David Akoubian as he discusses
techniques and offers tips for capturing what he refers to as "the Decisive Moment" in wildlife
photography. Capturing images that help the viewer personally identify with the subject can be that
decisive moment whether it is eye contact, or even the timing in an action photo. Join David as he
shares settings, secrets, stories and images of some decisive moments in his wildlife photography.

  

 

October 25th At Portsmouth Library

October 25th from 11-3:30 at the Portsmouth Public Library’s Levenson Room, Mandy’s Macro and Close-up event will be held by the club. Come and spend some time taking photos of the incredible set-ups Mandy has to share. There will be several stations each with a different creative set-up to photograph. Sign-up on the club website and join us for some great photo opportunities, creative techniques and socializing! Below are some examples of what you can capture.
