The club’s January 9th meeting will be back at the Urban Forestry Center in Portsmouth.  Mark Stevens will share his images of Cuba along with tips and suggestions of how we can improve our photography.

Mark is a NH artist who started with photography as a way to relax, to slow down, and to see the world in a new way. He enjoys capturing the world around him, whether he is close to home, or traveling around the country and beyond. With more time after he retired in 2007, he started to experiment with new techniques, different cameras, and digital software. His participation in several organizations, including Professional Photographers of America, has challenged his skills and let him develop in new ways.

Mark has received many awards and his success in image competition includes the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association (NHPPA) photographer of the year for 2014, 2015, and 2016 as well as Professional Photographers of America (PPA) IPC platinum photographer of the year in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.  Mark also has a Grand Imaging Award, a Kodak Gallery Award, and a Fuji Masterpiece award to his credit.
