The March 13th meeting is CANCELLED due anticipated weather condition.  SCC will attempt to reschedule Joanna’s presentation for a later date.

The Seacoast Camera Club next meets on Tuesday March 13th 6:00-8:00 PM.  We will meet in our normal location, the Urban Forestry Center in Portsmouth, NH.  Joanna (Jo) Novembrino will present a review and discussion of the basics of photography, reflecting the complexity of current cameras with an emphasis on camera settings and how to resize images for different purposes.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras.  New and intermediate shooters will benefit the most from this session, but the experienced will benefit from a refresher course, and even pick up a new tip or two.

Joanna earned a Certificate of Photography from NH Institute of Art in 1988. The same year, she started teaching evening classes at the Institute in camera use, how to take better pictures, and basic and advanced black and white darkroom. Since 2002, she has taught digital camera classes and Photoshop through Concord Community Education. Her goal is for her students to pursue photography as a means of personal and artistic expression.

Joanna has retired from a career in high tech, so she has more time to pursue photography and painting. She is a member of NHAA and is currently serving as VP.
