Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves – by Elaine Franklin

Hard to believe that the summer is almost over but the good news is that our club will be kicking off the new season in just about 2 weeks from now and we have a great season scheduled. We’ve got 2 exhibits scheduled and a number of interesting guest speakers planned.

Our first meeting will be Tuesday, Sept 13 at our usual time and place – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Urban Forestry Center on Elwyn Road in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This meeting will be a chance for us to catch up with each other after our break and to share some of your recent images. No judging and no competition – just a chance for you to show the members some of your work.

I’ll send another note out prior to meeting to remind you of submission guidelines. For now, just wanted you to be thinking of what images you want to show. Each club member can submit up to 5 images. But, do you want to show images you plan to submit later the season for one of the competitions? or do you want to save those to keep the element of surprise and show some other photos at the first meeting? Hmmm. Strategy might be important here so plan wisely!

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
